Excellent place for a family Sunday Lunch. Menu restricted to roasts, but food was delicious, hot, well served with very generous portions. Beautiful Yorkshire Puds! Lovely Olde Worlde atmosphere and roaring fires. Would definitely eat here again.
Perfect spot for a well-earned lunch after a long autumnal walk in the woods and fields. Cheery fires, tasty food, great beer and friendly staff and locals. We'll be back soon!
A lovely gem in the country side. I’m a big fan of this restaurant. I enjoyed my visit there every time. Great food and great country atmosphere. There were indoor and outdoor seatings. A lot people were there either with friends or family. We were there for Sunday roast a couple of times and a few lunches during the week. Food were awesome. Service was very good and staffs were friendly. Restroom was clean. A parking lot available just outside the building. Definitely will return. Fully recommended.
Chequers has been setting the standard for a perfect country pub for years. A great selection of hand pulled ales and an excellent changing menu of restaurant quality food. You can't really go wrong eating or drinking here.
A proper country pub, in a quiet picturesque village. Atmospheric, with different rooms for a quiet drink.
