Adventures of a Geography Teacher

We had to change our order several times due to a lack of ingredients (apparently the delivery hadn't been made). This meant the menu was extreme limited and we and others were only told this information after we ordered not before, which would have very useful. This made lunch very difficult as one of our party was gluten free and the other member was gluten free and vegetarian. Unfortunately there was no cheese available, so they both had to have garlic mushrooms on toast (which was actually half of a gf burger bun). I ordered the fish finger baguette, which came with American sliced cheese, which was very strange and I thought with them saying they had no cheese I didn't have to ask for the baguette to come with no cheese. The baguette was a partially baked one and came underdone, making it a little bit doughy. The mocktails were nice and the staff accommodating

Absolutely fantastic food and service, Really enjoyed the food it was delicious and cooked to perfection. My waiter sky was polite and well mannered.

Went on Tuesday with my lad. There was a pub quiz and bingo on so the atmosphere felt brilliant. Food was lovely (steak sizzler) and kids food was lovely too. Little kids play area outside and the garden is great. Great place never had an issue here 👍staff are lovely too. Had breakfast with my dad. Waffles are a good choice 😁😋

I went with my mum on Tuesday and the service from the staff was excellent. Very welcoming and made you feel relaxed. My daughter was a sleep in my arms and Becki helped to make me feel more relaxed by helping me with a better table so I could have arms free. Throughout our stay Becki and other staff was really more then excellent and helpful thank you. Really enjoyed our first visit and meal here. We will definitely be coming again. Thank you to you all. *Plenty of parking room *Staff made my daughter laugh and giggle, very kid friendly. *food I excellent

We visited without booking on a Monday lunchtime in the school holidays. It was busy with plenty of children in evidence, but this actually created a good vibe and the manager had anticipated demand well and brought in plenty of staff. We were served immediately at the bar by Becki, who could not have been more helpful. I was using some Tesco Reward Vouchers on this visit and she processed these super competently, without treating us like second class citizens. When I mentioned our table could use a quick wipe over, when she had the time - as some youngsters had left just before we sat there - she downed tools and came over to do it right away, without making us feel like a nuisance. Our Mixed Grills arrived within five minutes and were excellent. Whilst we were dining, a second member of staff came to check that everything was ok with our meals - which was another nice touch. We were lunching out for a special birthday and were delighted with our experience.
