The Chandlers is a traditional village pub overlooking the village green in the south Leicestershire village of Shearsby. The owners Martin and Stella believe that a village pub should be at the centre of the village and aim to create an atmosphere that is welcoming to everyone.
The Chandlers is a haven for real ale enthusiasts and sells a wide selection of real ales mainly from local microbreweries but also some from further afield. There is an annual beer festival in July which usually focuses on one area of the country.
The Chandlers offers a wide selection of home cooked food and hosts monthly quiz nights and skittles evenings.

Great welcome didn't book a table but seated us service and food was great value and a great choice on the menu 👍👍
Lovely oldie pub,oak beems, small and cosy. Food was excellent and good range of beers. Would definitely recommend a visit.
We literally found this place by randomly following a South Road out of Leicester to see what pubs were that way and glad we did as its a lovely little village pub, friendly staff and amazing food with plenty of it with and good choice of dishes. Defo coming here again A+++
Very nice friendly place to visit for a drink or meal, book first if eating.
