Introducing The Cat and Wheel, one of Bristol’s original pubs dating all the way back to the 1800’s.
Upon entering the pub, which is managed by Julie, Rose and their team, you will be greeted with a friendly smile and a warm Wickwar welcome.
Visit the Cat and Wheel and expect to partake in some serious karaoke (after a pint or two of Wickwar ale of course), listen to some of our regular live music, enjoy a game of pool, or watch one of the major sporting events live on our big screens.
To the rear of the pub is our secluded and sun-drenched beer garden ideal for those wonderful summer days and a cold beer while you relax, and during the more predictably English weather we have the option of cover and heaters to keep you warm!

Neil (Liam) is the love of my life. He touched my soul with his impeccable customer service and pint pouring skills. I am tempted to leave a bad review simply so I can have Neil (Liam) all to myself. Alas I am a man of principle and must recommend this pub to every living being. God Bless.
Lovely down to earth pub with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Also very immersive experience - I popped round back for a cheeky cig and a Tom cat named Mitchell milked me whilst I ran some laps on a giant hamster wheel. Good Sunday roast. P.s - bartender in the jeans and blonde wig looking smoking hot 🔥🥵

One of my favourite places in Bristol, if not the entire world. Staff: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Fun: 20000/10 Good prices, pool, jukebox, excellent quiz, multiple gardens. Can't beat it.
