Possibly one of the best pubs in London. I am not a fan of fish and chips, but their haddock was delicious. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, and the owner one of the most caring owners I have ever met in London. I would absolutely recommend!!
Great London pub serving a good selection of local craft beers. Well maintained and good clean pints of ale lager and stout. Nice friendly staff. Standard pricing for London. Food was of good quality and fresh. I recommend the Nachos. Very tasty 😋. I would recommend this venue to anybody. Has some good seating options and the perfect place to meet with friends. Easy access to Local tube and buses. Classic but clean decor. Toilets are well maintained and presentable.
The pub itself is cosy and well decorated - nice aesthetic. Staff were nice enough too. The Sunday roast was GREAT! Good portion size and very tasty/flavoursome. I had 5 friends visiting from the USA and I wanted them to experience a good old British Sunday Roast in a proper pub - and I’m happy to say that we were not disappointed. My only downside came from the fact the ladies toilets could be nicer - not a very pleasant smell. Also I’m not sure why was I charged £27.45 for the half roast chicken (£18) and an Amalfi Spritz (£6.95) which equals £24.95). I paid at the till, was I also charged a service charge? It would be good to understand this for future ref. Thanks!
Above average food and drink, lively vibe and tasteful decor! Fun place to be late afternoon til later in the evening. Excellent beer selection, Moor’s old ale is my favorite. Fish and chips are delicious, as is the burger. Leon and Ross make you feel right at home! Outstanding and a must visit when in Notting Hill area!!
Great location, friendly staff, great selection of draft beers, and the burgers are excellent. We stumbled upon this place after visiting the nearby Notting Hill Book Store. What a fun location with interesting shops and a good-looking crowd.
