The food was great but like most African restaurants it's the wait for the food. 3 people ordered for from one table, the first meal comes and it's when he's almost half way thru the 2nd one comes in and by the time the 3rd came the first 2 had already finished their meal.
Before you order, think twice. I've been waiting for over 2 hours for my order and had to write this review out of immense frustration. They are understaffed and the experience is extremely chaotic. The only saving grace is that the food is tasty. If it weren't, they'd have been out of business a long time ago. If you are ordering, just bring a podcast and be prepared to wait for an hour (minimum). Good luck!
Waiting time is atrocious, no organisation on the floor with the service. When we finally asked for our food to be packaged to go they still came and served at the table more than 2hours later it took another half an hour to finally get our food packaged and pay. To top things off the heat in the back hall is unbearable with only one fan facing their counter most of the time. I really don’t think the food is worth the hassle or wait.
Poor services. Inadequate staff. Badly run. 'One Menu Wonder' The wait for food is 1 hour 30 minutes. I understand that to be a day in, day out reality. The food is good but not worth the wait. Definitely relies on loyal customers to keep the business going. Second visit from most customers must be rare. Preferably, bring your own cutleries. That also seems to be short supply as well.
The fish is amazing! Fresh and very tasty. So what it takes 1 or 2h? The food is freshly made in the hour and leaves me with a full belly and a happily pleased smile in my face 😋
