This was a great place to stay with a dog. Our room window had a door that opened so we could let the dog out for quick wees before bed. It was so nice to relax in the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi after a day walking. Good breakfast too. We arrived late at night and there was no one at reception but there was a phone for the night porter who quickly came a checked us in.
We've just come back from a lovely little trip away in Keswick, and we stayed here. Granted, it was a quiet time of year we barely saw anyone at the hotel during our stay, which probably helped. But the rooms & grounds were great, very dog friendly and the rooms are great for easy access to the outside. Very clean, great bathroom & comfy bed. Would definitely come back.
A very nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spa facilities and the food, both at breakfast and in the bar was delicious! The room was clean and tidy, maybe a little bit dated but that didn't make my stay any less enjoyable. Wifi was good and it had everything we needed during our stay.
Stayed for two nights as a nice get away. Hotel was lovely and staff very friendly. Beautiful tranquil location. Option for a bottle of fizz on check was a lovely touch. Only draw back was bed or beds as two singles pushed together was very uncomfortable and terrible nights sleep. The bathroom was okay but needed a little clean in the shower cubicle due to stubborn mildew. Would have been helpful for staff to let us know we needed to book for evening meal.
We've just had a fantastic 2 night stay here and we couldn't be more pleased. We had a free upgrade to a executive room which was clean, well maintained and spacious, as was the bathroom. The facilities were excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A special mention to Mandy who really is a lovely, friendly person and couldn't do enough for us and our little dog Buster. The restaurant food and service was really good, offering lovely tasty food using locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast was plentiful, offering an excellent selection and options. The location is a great base for accessing the Lakes and beautiful little towns and villages. We will definitely be making a return visit. Keep up the great work you are all doing.
