Wow! The staff here are super friendly and make this pub my favourite and all my friends and family. Jordan and Vinny are the funniest bartenders and always provide amazing customer service skills. Charlotte and liv always provide my food with a smile and are super helpful. Rachel the quiz queen is always kind and funny when I’m there which makes my visit even better. I would 1000% recommend this place for the food and the people
Overall an acceptable experience. Starters took over 30 mins to arrive which was quite a long time I felt. Main course arrived a little quicker which was better. All the food was warm not hot!! On the whole we were pleased but just a few little pointers.
the last Sunday roast we had a few weeks ago was awful - we decided to try again (anyone can have an off day) and this was much better. Beef was lovely, but the veg was barely warm and had been sitting on the plate for some time - missed the roast potatoes off the plate but this was rectified quickly and they were hot and very nice. Still room for improvement (and the pub was quiet, testament to the decline in food quality because it always used to be packed out) but heading in the right direction. It is walking distance so we want it to improve.
Went in with family members for lunch and drinks. Value for money meals, which was nicely presented and served by pleasant staff. Lovely desserts to finish . Menu has a wide variety of dishes and light bites, including dietary options. Building is disabled accessible and a free car park ( remember to add car details into the machine on entry) has disabled bays .An enjoyable experience.
Enjoyed my visit today, pleasant atmosphere, staff very friendly & helpful. Could not find a fault with the meal, would go again.
