New micropub opposite The Museum in Newcastle, opening at the end of July 2017. One small room houses a variety of different seating, from ordinary tables and chairs to the higher "posing"-style tables.
Five cask beers are stocked, plus a couple of real ciders and a good selection of bottled beer. Baps are available all the time; the first Wednesday of every month is Takeaway Night (starts 5pm), where you can order a takeaway, have it delivered to the bar and eat it with a beer. The staff will even provide provides plates and do the washing up!.
5 of us Walked in without booking. Within minutes a table was put together. Ordered food and all of us had different dishes. All spot on and service was brilliant. First visit and we will return. Much appreciated
Great bar! Friendly staff and regulars, reasonably priced and a good selection. I always end up with the song "Rock the Casbah" stuck in my head after visiting here purely due to the name of the bar. I haven't tried the food but it does look and smell good!
