Very busy for Sunday lunch, make sure to ring ahead and book a table we had the 3 x course meal between the two of us Brie starter, traditional roast beef and desserts to finish up, it was bl**dy lovely to say the least, we were well looked after by staff, noticed tables were in demand filling quickly after each group left and new sat down... The pictures speak for themselves.

Glad to call back at the Carlton, it's been a few years. The place was rather quiet so the atmosphere was a bit sub-quorum. Overall the food was good (fish slightly under) but the presentation was excellent. Service was great.

Nice location and a relatively quiet setting. The food was a bit on the expensive side for what it was, around £15 for fish and chips. The fish was quite small and the batter had a small pool of oil under it on the plate. The portion of chips came on a side plate and we both expected more. We'd go back for a drink bit would pass on eating there in the future.
