About us

Well known for the quality of our locally sourced food, our extensive range of world craft beers both in bottle and on tap and our extensive list of outstanding cocktails. Caprice has maintained its reputation over the years and benefits from a regular clientele seeking everything from a toasted freshly baked scone or bacon roll with their cortado or flat white, a healthy option salad or 2 course lunch to what we think are the best steaks, burgers and pizzas for miles from our evening menu.

The venue has a bright and airy feel thanks to its high ceilings, conservatory and stunning terrace. All are complemented by delicious menus and fine wine lists. This continental style brasserie continues to prove itself popular with tourist visitors to Ayrshire and locals alike.

We are situated on Prestwick's Main Street only a few minutes from Prestwick Airport and the world famous Prestwick Golf Club, the venue for the first ever Open Championship. This makes it an ideal venue as the 19th hole whether it be for a cool bottled beer or a meal after your game.

My friend's 60th birthday party was held here for 40 plus guests. Caprice buffet was amazing and great value for money. Well trained, friendly, efficient staff who couldn't do enough for us. Definitely a 5 star service and would highly recommend. Lorraine from Prestwick

Staff were great, we wondered why it was so quiet, was only us. We had been in many times before. The food was not great sadly. The fish was about 5 inches long and not flaky, like compressed pre made, the chips were okay and the peas, but was if the cook had just got a scoop and.dumped them on the plate, there was no separation or prep, was a jumbled up mess. The "coleslaw" was about a desert spoon in a paper cup. Such a shame. Sadly won't be back for.lunches

Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon enjoying a couple of beers in the sun. Service could have been better. Bar staff had to ask other members of staff how to make drinks, not good. Quite pricey but overall a nice afternoon.

Visited with family for a meal and drinks. I love this place as the food is always great, staff are lovely and drinks are fabulous. We sat outside in the sunshine and everything was great. Have been going here for years and love the fact you can have a conversation and it's dog friendly too. Meals are well priced, big portions and drinks are little more expensive but we'll made.

Very enjoyable visit on probably the hottest day of the year so far. Cold beer and wine on the terrace along with tempura chicken and sweet fries. The staff were friendly and efficient. The prices are maybe on the high side but you pay for the ambience. Nice mezzanine area.
