We went to this Pub/ Restaurant for some dinner as we’re staying locally for work and was very pleasantly surprised. The pub itself is gorgeous, very cosy and we loved all of the food. The drinks are quite pricey but the food is good value. The pie I had was home cooked and very tasty. The staff were also extremely welcoming and it was great service. We will definitely becoming back again!
Beautiful place to go!! We stumbled across this pub driving around yesterday after me and a few friends went axe throwing at paintball Kent. Built up an appetite so we saw this place and thank god they had a car park we was originally going to the black horse but couldn't find parking so we drove along the road and saw this and thankful we did. We had such a great service by all the staff so friendly and welcoming would definitely give more stars if available. Also dog friendly!!! Gave my dog some water and some treats!!! Always love a good dog friendly place to eat!! Thank you!!
I had a really nice Christmas meal here with my WI. The vegan dessert option was great. Main course carvery veg were mostly vegan (not the cauliflower cheese or swede sadly). Unfortunately the nut roast was a little dry, but perfectly edible and didn't detract from my enjoyment!
Had a great time with family for Christmas meal. Food was as it should be at the carvery. Staff were attentive and engaging. Couple of tweaks, gluten free needs to be clearer, current menu is restrictive and just needs a couple of adjustments. The disco on party nights, it’s there, customers - open the double doors and there is the disco (it wasn’t pointed out by staff). We did have a good night though!
Recommended, nice room, nice food, nice staff. My wife and I stayed here Friday night. The room was nice and spacey with all the mod cons you would expect. The pub was loverly with a wide range of drinks and alcohol, my wife loved the Gin list. The food was excellent, well cooked and well priced. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were superb. We will revisit and bring friends, I really enjoyed our time here.
