Had Sunday lunch food was good, had to pre order a week in advance and £5 ahead was required as the party was for 19 people. Kids had free food. Service was excellent
Booked a table in the bar for a birthday lunch, and we were absolutely not disappointed. The service was so lovely and the food was stunning. We will absolutely be back again and again.
We stopped by for lunch only. Excellent service, food (steak frittes cooked just right) and an astounding chocolate brownie sundae dessert. Delightful service and the history, atmosphere of the old inn is great. Book to eat in the old bit.
Visited here on Sunday for lunch. My daughter is getting married here next year and I can't say enough about how fabulous it is. The building is beautiful and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The food was delicious and plentiful and the menu was seasonal. Guve this place a try, it is well worth it.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms are lovely, very tasteful and with nice complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. The staff were all very nice and polite. The breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately they had a wedding on and you could really hear the music until late into the night, having the wedding on also meant that we waited almost an hour for our breakfast as the wedding party all ate together. The waitress was very apologetic and I totally appreciated that it was not her fault. We also couldn’t park in the car park and had to walk 5 minutes with all of our bags (again, probably due to the wedding). It was a lovely hotel but I’d definitely think twice about staying on a weekend.
