A hotel that could be excellent with a little attention to detail of cleaning of skirt boards, white areas stained by grease in the air and not wiped or done on regular basis, front doors that do not shut easily, and leaky porch. More attention to detail needed this time of year before season starts. However would consider a revisit later in the year.
Went for a couple of night for a Adele & Abba tribute weekend. Brilliant entertainment. Lovely room staff and food . Can't wait to go again in April
Nice enough place to stay. Food & entertainment ok for what you pay. Good value for money if you want a cheap weekend away with a group of friends & not worry about pleasing everyone with who wants to eat where! As well placed for good pub tour if thats what your there for , which we were.
Haven't seen rooms yet but if they are anything like the reception and lounge then I'm in for a real treat. Really friendly staff. Well I have now stayed in the hotel and we are blown away with every aspect of it. The staff are terrific all cheerfull and helpful. The rooms are are clean spacious and well appointed. Entertainment was great. Already booked again. Highly recommended hotel.
Went for the Sunday carvery to celebrate my mother's birthday, the food was lovely. 4 choices of meat. We spoke to other guests, who go there for their Sunday lunch regularly, that speaks for itself. Staff are great and the atmosphere is lovely, more suited to the more mature guests.
