Came here after a football game, food was excellent, drink options were brilliant and staff really nice.
I enjoyed the beverage but was unsure as to why I paid two pound for some pork scratchings the DJ was awesome playing Bob the builder sound track
Went here one Sunday afternoon to watch a local band out in the garden. Staff very friendly. Had a great time
States online it's dog-friendly, walked 3km to have some drinks with a friend and my dog, to be turned away stating no dogs allowed!? Such a shame as we had some drinks in the pub previous week (without the dog) and enjoyed ourselves. With publicans concerned about dwindling trade, it amazes me a pub like the Ploughman, that doesn't serve food, and was empty on our arrival, didn't allow us to come in with a well-behaved dog on a lead
