Absolutely phenomenal evening. Went in with some family for a burns supper from Boathouses limited time burns night menu and it did not disappoint in the least. 4 courses, each exquisite, chocked full of flavour and bags of character, not to mention beautifully presented. The service was fantastic too, none of us were left wanting all evening.

We went for breakfast. Very good food for the price and Molly our waitress was great. Only negative was the lack of Smoked Salmon & Scrambled eggs. My partner really wanted that and we went specifically to have it as it’s featured on the menu and advertised. I understand it has not been available for some time. An easy fix if the management took stock and would order it. Otherwise a pleasant Sunday morning.

Very tastefully executed restaurant. The food was great and reasonably priced for the quality. Jess the server was super polite and kept checking if we were happy with food and drinks. Will definetly visit again. Thank you !

Popped in after the new refreshing refurb, the place looks absolutely stunning, the staff were super kind and welcoming, Tomy was our server and I can honestly say I've never met a happier guy in my life, nothing was too much trouble and was really good with my kids too! We had a manager (matt) pop over to see how our lunch was going, again really nice and polite. Food options were great and the mocktail no-jito was so much better then expected. The place seems to have a major turn around for the better. Look forward to the summer time for drinks in the outside area!

We arrived, having not been there for around 20 years or more. The first thing that we were pleased with was that they're dog friendly - VERY dog friendly. We were sat inside with our pack of 4 dogs, and they were brought water bowls as we were given drinks, and then they were brought treats (we were ask beforehand if this was OK - Top marks for thinking of that too) as we were brought our main meals. For the three of us, the bill was around £70, which for starters, mains, & drinks was pretty good; but it got better. Our lad spotted he had an offer from his bank to knock 25% off the bill! Even though we were paying, they were happy to accept and this meant that we were able to give an even better tip! Bonus!!! (Quick edit - I forgot to mention the brilliant staff by name!) We were served by Alex, and the dogs were mainly looked after by Anish. Both were highly professional, knowledgeable, and personable - they deserve to be mentioned, because they made such a difference to our visit. There was another thing in store for me; the toilet. Sounds dumb, but I have to use the disabled loo, and this is so often a dinghy affair tucked away somewhere. Not here. You needed a RADAR Key to get in, and then I was greeted by the BEST disabled toilet that I have ever been in. I'm still on two feet, but had I been on my mobility scooter, there was ample room inside for me to have manoeuvred around and got into the necessary position to swap seats, as it were. Pull down support bars that actually worked, taps that didn't just dribble, and one of those wonderful jet-engine based hand driers (actually blew my wedding ring off, but that was my fault). A brilliant place to eat, and if you give the staff your registration number, you don't even need to pay for parking. Without doubt, the next time we're in the area, we'll be back in to enjoy the place.
