Lovely 17th Century country inn just 200 yards from the river in the historic and picturesque village of Houghton, 2 miles from St. Ives (pretty riverside town) and Huntingdon (historic market town) and just 20/25 minutes from Cambridge. We have 2 rooms, very comfortable king sized beds, flat screen tv in each room & hospitality tray. A good hearty breakfast is included in room rates and we try to locally source food wherever possible.
An excellent base for business or for leisure with some of the following attractions just a stone's throw away - Cambridge, Ely, The Imperial War Museum at Duxford (approx 20/25 minutes), The American Cemetery. We have free WIFI internet access for your added convenience at no extra charge.
It is also an idyllic base to explore the area or enjoy over 26 miles of signposted walks on the Ouse Valley Way that runs through the village. One day coarse fishing licences available.
The village also boats a convenience shop, post office, antiques shop, gift shop .
Dogs are welcome but there is an additional charge of £10 per stay.

Quaint little pub accommodation is good not sure about the shower in my room but would recommend a short stay.
We stopped in for dinner while staying at the local campsite. We had a small issue with a burger but it was fixed promptly without trouble and a sincere apology :) also hats off to the chef for a fantastic homemade crumble. Great service from all on shift.
Three Horseshoes is set in a historic area. Has large garden and seating outside has well as room inside. Close to the National Trust Houghton Mill with plenty of walks by the river. Pretty village with lots of old houses to see. Only had drinks but the menu looked good.
Great pub near the entrance of Broughton Mill which worth the visit. It's bike friendly and also has an inn.
