The Monkfield Arms is situated in the newly developed village of Cambourne, just a few miles west of Cambridge. We pride ourselves on offering friendly and helpful service in a warm welcoming atmosphere. Pub food is served daily until late and our great menu is complimented by an extensive range of specials which change from day to day. We are fast becoming known for our 'food from around the world' theme nights which are the perfect time to sample some exotic cuisine and have an enjoyable entertaining evening. I was part of a family group of 9 (booked in advance) having a Christmas lunch. The service was fabulous (my 3yo granddaughter saw the vegetarian option of cheesy pasta so a small portion was magically produced for her) because the staff couldn't do enough for us. A particular shout out to Ollie for his service and humour throughout.
I attended the Cambourne Community Gospel Choir christmas events here 🙌🏾. It has become an annual event that is well received and attended. It was really packed this year. I recommend next one, last Wednesday before Christmas. Atmosphere in the pub was really warm and friendly. The customer service was excellent too. Parking is good too. Well done to the pub landlord and team.
I booked for lunchtime here for our first visit and found the experience very easy. Because of heavy traffic, I telephoned to say that we would be a little bit late with no problem getting answered by the helpful staff. Our lunch was served very quickly and we enjoyed it very much. A friendly pub that we will visit again when in the area.👍
Motorcycle meet. Lovely weather. The food was cheap and high quality. Atmosphere rather chain pub. Hungry horse ish. Staff pleasant. Worth popping in if you're passing.
