I stayed here for a night whilst attending a training event. The new owner and his family provide impeccable service. The hospitality is excellent. The food divine. Don’t be put off by the smoked options on the menu, the smoking is so delicately and expertly done and those balsamic bubbles…what a treat!
It's under new management so undergoing a transformation. The rooms are small but comfortable, breakfast is included and it is great and freshly cooked to order. It's all dog friendly including the rooms. The Inn is accessible to wheelchairs but the accommodation isn't as it is in a separate area only accessible via steep metal stairs. The food is good and quite " Gastro" , lots of different variations on the usual fare. There were plenty of children on the first evening we were there but there wasn't any play area. There is an activity hub and recreation area nearby.
A beautiful pub with great character and atmosphere. The menu features many of the pub classics with some twists to really elevate the dishes. The quality of the food is outstanding. I highly recommend and I’ll definitely be returning very soon.
We had really great supper at The White Hart last night. Delicious ribs and fish and chips - great service and a lovely warm welcome to us and our dog. Nice to see so many locals enjoying drinks in the bar too. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Thank you - we will be back !
2 of us came here on a Friday night for a drink and a snack. The interior is SO nice. Im kicking myself for not taken any photos! Rustic farmhouse conversion style space with wooden beams, flowers on each table and a display for wine. We shared a plaice and chips - so delicious, really crispy and not greasy at all. I would definitely come again to try try other dishes on the menu. The staff were all lovely and the place had a really relaxed vibe to it. All that was missing was a comfy armchair to enjoy a pint in :) Highly recommended!
