Nice hotel in a seaside area nice staff and rooms are great ideal for weekend and holidays im here on work which is great for me to get around. the Seaview is great on a nice suunny day from your room
We had an amazing 3 nights here, the food was exquisite & service was excellent! Only slightly criticism would be our room was cold but we were given a heater. The view & place is lovely it’s only a short drive to Scarfell pike for fellow hikers 😁
This hotel used to be pretty good, but this visit was very disappointing. The window was broken in my room, stuck open so it had been sort of duck taped shut but the main problem is it stank strongly of WD40 for the 2 nights I was there for. The food is still good, and the staff are friendly, I think I was just unlucky.
Always enjoy visiting Calder House Hotel, whether it's for a pint and a game of pool, to watch the football or for dinner. There is always a good selection of drinks and a warm welcome.
Charming, cozy, right by the sea. The staff were all wonderful, lovely people. The bar was awesome, the food was awesome, and we had a great time.
