Enjoy the country pub atmosphere - log fire, malt whiskies, real ales and affordable food in this small, family owned, village centre hotel.
A small, rustic, lively inn, the Cairn is a favourite destination in the Cairngorm National Park, in the beautiful village of Carrbridge.
With comfortable bedrooms, creative seasonal menus, using the best local ingredients and a drink selection of the finest Scottish gins, malt whiskies and craft ales, itβs one of the wisest choices for those wishing to make the most of their time in the Highlands.
Very kind and helpful! We came here as we ran out of petrol and the owner helped us generously to charge the car (hybrid luckily). During the time it took we had a very tasteful lunch next to the fireplace. So we were lucky twice. And had the time to take pictures of the amazing bridge just opposite of the hotel, too. Thanks a lot!! We hope to get back here when we come to Scotland again. Cheers and all the best, Peter from Germany
Ate here two nights of a three night holiday! Seated on arrival, we chose to be in the pub part beside the fire, other tables were through in the dining room. Staff behind the bar and serving tables were welcoming, efficient and very friendly - even on two unexpectedly busy January evenings. Each night the food was fantastic - absolutely worth the cost and the onion rings were amazing! Will recommend to others and definitely come back πππππ
First time here for dinner tonight as we were at the Landmark winter woods thing with the kids. I absolutely loved it, the haggis lasagne was out of this world. I lost control and forgot to take more photos of the food again which is happening more often than not as the places we go are always top notch.
We just had a dinner with my husband and our two young sons. Fantastic experience, splendid food, great atmosphere and lovely, attentive staff. Children menu is absolutely fabulous. Super price and really good quality food. Thank you we will be back.
Excellent pub experience. Food and service were top-notch. The rooms were rather dated, with windows and doors that didn't shut well, low water pressure and rather dusty. To make up for it, the service was excellent and very friendly. If they renovated, this hotel and would well deserve 5 stars.
