We like to look after your wallet, too. Whenever you come to The Byways you can get a great deal, as well as a great meal. There’s a different deal every day of the week. The Byways is a great place to stop for a bite to eat, whether you’re just starting your day, or kicking back after a great day out. Easy to find, spacious free parking, well lit. Easy to find a table and great range of food. The value was fantastic with lots of offers and they also accept a Blue Light Card. The food arrived quickly and portion size was generous , well presented, hot and above all tasty. I had the local beer which I highly recommend ( Timothy Taylor's ) The layout was comfy, modern and warm. The man at the bar was courteous , friendly, very efficient. However , I scored them down on service due to only 2 people on, 1 at bar, 1 serving food so the queues built up and there was quite a wait at the bar, though, through no fault of the team on. It could have been caused by poor scheduling or a late illness.

the best nachos I've ever eaten. Delicious steak. Great starters. Overall, the food is delicious. Kudos to the chef!!! The only drawback is the lack of good steak knives.

We frequent this Greene King pub regularly, thanks to its proximity to the caravan park we stay at. The diverse menu always impresses, offering a wide array of options to suit various preferences. The staff here are consistently attentive, providing a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. One of the standout features is the quality of the food in relation to its price. The menu boasts appealing choices, and each dish we've tried has consistently met or exceeded our expectations. It's a pleasant surprise to find such good value for money without compromising on taste or presentation. In addition to the delicious offerings, the pub's ambiance adds to its charm. The welcoming and attentive staff contribute significantly to the positive atmosphere, making each visit a delightful experience. Overall, this Greene King pub has become a reliable and enjoyable dining option for us, enhancing our stay at the nearby caravan park.

Food was good ,took a bit of time to get served as busy, very noisy also as football game was on, dog friendly in two places with hard surfaces, plenty of parking,would recommend and return

Just nipped in for breakfast this morning. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas inside. Ordered special breakfast and it was lovely. All hot and plenty of it. Not busy so that was nice. Nice friendly boy on the bar. Would definitely go again and would recommend it. Nipped to the loo on the way out and they were spotless.
