Lovely food pub , the food is fabulous ,especially the Thai food ,which beautifully presented . It's down fall is the coffee machine and kitchen close at 9.and unless staff mention it, you don't know . We had starters and mains all fabulous ,table cleared( about 8.45) waited for the girl to come back ,she didn't, one of the table went to find her ,to order coffee and dessert only to be told both had closed at 9 ( it was 9.10 by then ) .all 6 of us couldn't believe it and were very annoyed and disappointed . We then chatted while finishing our drinks and were asked to move to the bar to finish our drinks so they could clear the area .. that was adding insult to injury , we'd had enough by then so left . I'm tempted go back at lunch time for the food , but wouldn't bother for a night out with friends !!!!
Nipped in for a quick bite to eat on Saturday afternoon, had the chicken burger and salt and pepper chicken with chips. Wow 👌. Really nice place, lovely atmosphere, pint at only £4.50 Staff were great especially Charlie who looked after us today. Really impressed.
Great pub, polite efficient staff, dog friendly with treats for dog's on the bar! Lovely beer garden with bowls and water keg for dogs, plenty of seating, live entertainment on certain days, Thai cuisine, pool table, draught beers and ciders, large selection of spirits, great selection of bar snacks, real log fires and children welcome too. Great all rounder of a pub. Will definitely be coming back here. 5 🌟
I'd hear about The Buxton Inn and their amazing reputation of delivering authentic and totally scrumptious Thai food with both a full traditional English menu and a brilliant Thai menu. The staff at very efficient and attentive and made me and family feel right at home in their very busy restaurant. The food was delicious and came out in ample portions. Easily enough to satisfy and challenge you to empty your plate. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Well worth a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✅️
Me and my wife went up for an early tea. With our great niece. Food excellent. We ordered garlic chicken sticky coconut rice ,chicken noodles .young gentleman served use and was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be calling again .John n jean
