A new addition to the pubs in Wombwell. This small pub opened in 2009 and was a butchers shop right on the market entrance. It opens very early and closes very late. Small enough to be a micro-pub but no cask beers.
Great Sunday afternoon out, Butchers is a friendly spot to go, bar staff are great to get along with, the company of got friends and new friends make a great atmosphere.
Love this bar. Smaller venue that still provides a massive out door area, a stage for live events, music and sport, and low priced drinks. Awesome place all round to be fair.
The food is great, nothing too much trouble will mix lamb and chicken tikka for example. Friendly staff who get to know your preference when you return a few times...
Luke is a perfect guy to leave in charge of any business, dealing with people who have had Alcohol on a night out. I. Ve been in the pub trade but a few year, s ago and see first hand how he deal, s with other people's business. He and dear Sally should move on and build their own business, and build their own profit, s for their own future? If I had colleterall to go back into the trade I would pay top bucks to employ them, and would leave them to make profits for their hard work, and make me richer. And I, d be happy to help myself and two fantastic honest people, love em both? Sorry all 3.
Went in on a Saturday afternoon as I wanted to watch the football. I wasn't felt very welcome by the bartender. No hello, no saying how much the beer was upon serving(had to ask) To add there was no thanks or anything. I won't return and wouldn't recommend going here if you're not a local!
