One of my favourites. This is an unpretentious proper pub.There are not many pubs like this left. Has Sky Sports. Two small bars . Garden with bench seats. Well behaved dogs welcomed.
Nice little pub, good place to watch the football and have a pint, what's not to like?
Nice little pub, friendly staff,well worth a visit.
Called in here to check it out and was pleasantly surprised - we had a very warm welcome from the chaps in the bar who chatted away to us. Very friendly and welcoming place. Beer was good and well kept. Spent a lot longer in here than we planned to as we were having such a nice time! Dog friendly, bar staff are friendly. We will be back!
Love the people and the friendly staff. Won’t go there again though while the current manager is there. Was appalled to witness yesterday a vicious verbal attack on a long standing loyal elderly customer by the manager in front of everyone. The customer is mid 80s is frail and in my experience extremely polite and courteous and I was not aware of anything he might have done or said to provoke such an appalling attack on him. Five stars for the staff and patrons minus five for the manager

Locals pub situated on the Tilehurst Triangle. Darts and pool. No meals served but homemade rolls at a very reasonable price. Live music and jukebox when not!
