Brilliant very old style ‘farmers’ pub in a very remote location. Very friendly barman and locals. Not swanky and very good beer prices.
This place is a wow. I have not been to a pub like this in years. A guy who owns the place is very friendly and served as well. It's a must guy.
A great pub which is nestled away on the moors, it's lovely and remote. A welcoming landlord and a nice selection of drink. Definitely recommended!
What a find. Unfortunately chef was not available, however the welcome, atmosphere and ambience more than made up for the lack of food. A great host, characterful locals and a wide range of drinks made for a long night of longer tales and even longer philosophising. Certainly worth the detour. A jewel in the Peaks!
Very welcoming friendly landlord and family! propper family run country pub not one of these generic chain pubs, open fires and dogs roaming about :) Great beer, amazing food with good size portions all at a reasonable price. Been several times and its over an hours drive which is worth it! Not many places like this left.

Situated in the beautiful Peak District, with fabulous views of the Manifold View, the Staffordshire Knot Inn is the perfect rural pub. Think 16th Century exterior, log fires (in the Winter) and a comforting interior. A bit like home, but better!
