Had a dinner experience here. It was just ok. It was 17:30 when I arrived there and it wasn’t too busy, then started to get busier after 6pm. It was a bit typical in terms of that we felt before we ordered food every few minutes or so someone was asking if we were ready to order then after we did order it then because difficult to get the attention of the staff, we ordered some alcoholic drinks and water, the wine arrived the water didn’t, there just had to be reminders for things. If you’re looking for a quick bite maybe after work or shopping then best to get in and out.
I’d been longing to go back for a long time but I’m pretty sure they have changed the Thai calamari . We made the fatal error of not asking for small plates on their own . So all the food came at once which is just too much . The mains went cold as we grazed which was a real shame . Chicken satay want great - barely cooked . Crispy duck stir fry was good but the pad Thai wasn’t generous in the other ingredients .. just lots of noodles . Had to have the chocolate fondant , but it was over cooked . What a let down .
Good food but not cheap! Excellent & quick service! We got a seat right away despite it being a busy night. Good lighting and interiors but the table / bench setting isn't that comfortable with small kids. If you are a group of less than 8 people you might have to share the table with others.
Restaurant The place itself looks actually nice from the outside, but once you step in you realise that it is not kept clean at all. I asked to change the table as under my seat someone dropped food and it was still on the floor. The table was sticky and the seats where dirty that even my five year old son didn‘t want to sit on those. I went to the bathroom and it was actually discusting, paper everywhere on the floor. Colour of the taps coming off and everywhere stains of pee. I believe that the toilet is nit cleaned over the day. Food The portions are small and the drinks are served in cans, proper imbiss style. The food itself is good but nothing special. I can think of better places, but maybe I have different standards coming from Germany. The presentation of the food looks bad, like really bad. Like it’s been warmed up. Service I find the service and staff pretty bad. Not very attentive and no attention for customers and for the restaurant. At the end they are receiving guests and as a waiter I would thing that you look for a clean place. Conclusion I would not come here again and that’s the most important point for any recommendation.
I recently dined at Busaba, a Thai restaurant, and found the food to be good but somewhat average. While the flavors were decent, they didn't particularly stand out. Unfortunately, we had to skip dessert due to the slow service, as we were concerned about our limited time. On a brighter note, the drinks were exceptionally delicious and added to our dining experience. We look forward to returning when we have more time to explore their dessert menu.
