We recently held a baby shower here at Bunchrew. The staff were so lovely and accommodating all around. The view was absolutely beautiful from the dining room. I had loads of comments about how lovely the afternoon tea was from so many friends. For the price we paid I could not fault such a beautiful day and a very happy mumma. Thank you so much 💗
We absolutely loved loved loved our stay at Bunchrew House ❤️ we decided to have a little romantic getaway and I had read such good reviews about this place it seemed like a good choice - and it sure was! The room was comfortable and big, the two rosette fine dining restaurant was seriously delicious and even the bar menu was excellent. The staff are super friendly, helpful and always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Finally the Country House itself is beautiful, historic and full of stories. It's a testament to the hotel owners for keeping this place in such good condition and the attention to detail in the house is incredible. The views to the Beauly Firth are also stunning, even on dark and rainy December days.
We stayed for a couple nights as a mini pre Christmas getaway. The hotel is beautiful and charming, it felt like a Hallmark film with festive furnishings, roaring fireplaces and cosy nooks to sit and play cards in. The food is unbelievable, amazing dinner and breakfast. We loved our room, it was massive and overlooked the loch. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful - thank you Anne, Fiona and the lovely NZ girls for making it a great trip. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing festive weekend!
We got married at Bunchrew House in September. It was absolutely perfect. We have stayed there before and the service was always above and beyond so we knew it was perfect for our wedding day. Living in Kent they made arranging our wedding remotely very easy and kept us in track with planning to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you to Anne and Deborah. Our guests loved the unique venue and still talk about the beautiful scenery and amazing meal. Excellent value for the service.
Bunchrew House is beautiful. The setting is gorgeous, the grounds are fantastic. We ate dinner here and also had their high tea, and everything we ate was delicious. They have a great selection of whisky you can try in their bar as well. And every member of staff that we came into contact with was just so welcoming and wonderful. It's really a great place to come to unwind. But all of that being said, I cannot give this 5 stars because our room was insanely stuffy and hot. I understand this is a historical property and their options are probably limited when it comes to cooling. But considering we were there when the weather was in the low 60s, I was shocked at how hot our room was. We opened both windows, and they do provide a small fan that can be used, but it didn't really properly cool down until we had run the fan for 2 days. We barely slept the first night because of how hot it was, it almost like sleeping in an attic. I'm not sure if the rooms on the lower level are any cooler, but if you plan to stay here, just be aware that this could be a possibility. The rest of the areas in the hotel, like the restaurant, bar and drawing room were all perfectly comfortable, and outside of our very warm room, it was perfect.
