The Bunbury Arms is a beautiful pub, carvery & restaurant, situated in Great Barton, just outside Bury St. Edmunds on the A143. First time back at The Bunbury Arms for the carvery for our work’s Christmas Meal. The food was really lovely - beef especially nice! Huge portions and desserts were divine. Can’t wait to come back! Merry Christmas from all at Suffolk Insignia
4 stars, heavily Influenced by very reasonably pricing. 15 quid for a carvery and 7 quid for a desert not bad at all. Staff were friendly and polite but just seemed to be a lack of structure to what they were doing resulting in some long waits between orders and courses. Get the service sorted and it could be a 5 star place.
Our first time back since the pub was taken over by new management and we had a great time! Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the pub has definitely retained its family-friendly vibe. There wasn't a huge selection on the menu, but the food itself was amazing! It all came out in good time even though the kitchen was short staffed. Great value, great pub, will definitely go back to try their roast soon!
Excellent food, service and not forgetting the lovely attentive staff.. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.. had a lovely lunch to celebrate two special birthdays.. 100th and 70th. Thank you.. steak and Ale pie was to die for! Double choc brownie and waffles delicious! 🌟
We stopped here on our way home to the West Midlands from Lowestoft. A great pub. The staff were amazing, very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the carvery which really hit the spot. Just perfect 👍🏼
