This is genuinely one of the nicest places to go for food. When ever we visit family in the area we go...especially for the vegan food. OMG it's amazing, the menu is ace and so are the cocktails. The pub is lovely and the staff are great. Brilliant service as always and I'm already planning my return...highly recommended š
Had lunch in the Bulls Head on Saturday during our weekend in Marple. The menu is pleasantly different from other pubs. Had the Vietnamese loaded fries, they were amazing šdefinitely one to return to. Only downside for some, it is a cashless establishment.
The food was not good for the amount they charge. I got the chicken gyros and salt and pepper chips. The chicken was burnt and all I could taste was burn so it wasn't edible, my friend who will eat anything ended up having it. The salt and pepper chips were just chips with sweet chilli sauce on so didn't taste anything like salt and pepper. Chips don't come with any of the mains, granted you get chips inside gyros but none of the burgers come with chips, so it ends up costing Ā£21 for a meal which is an extortionate price for the quality of food.
We ambled in after a short walk to the Garden House on the other side of town, about a 10 minute walk away. It was raining and we needed ourselves a bite to eat and they accommodated us very nicely! The vegan menu was massive, which gave us plenty of options to choose from! The lady who looked after us was kind and attentive and we left feeling like future trips to Marple will be incomplete without a visit to the Bullās Head
Visited for the first time with a friend for tea last week and was so impressed! Staff were all so friendly from the minute we walked in. The vegan menu is very impressive and we ordered all our food off there. The vegan greek tacos were so tasty and we shared the salt and pepper fries. I also had an oat milk cappuccino which was lovely! Canāt wait to come back. Very cosy inside too!
