The Bull Hotel has recently undergone significant renovation and has developed a deserved reputation under the guide of locally trained head chef and joint manager Hannah Owen for fresh locally sourced produce offering diversified traditional and contemporary dining, alongside front of house and hotel manager Kayley Ribi they provide a welcoming and refreshing pub, dining and accommodation experience.

The Bull put on an excellent buffet in a bright, well furnished private dining room for a friend's funeral. A great help to overcome a sad day.
Would do no stars if I could .arrived late as we just got off boat 2 girls showed us to the room it was at back of main hotel we just opened the door you could smell the damp it was vile the beds were damp I didn't sleep as the smell was so bad shower was damp as well but they tried to cover it with paint or something I never seen anything like this I think they gave us the cow shed or something by mistake we were up early and the smell off us was disgusting smell of mould and you couldn't even shower because you would come out dirtier than you went in we got out as fast as we could and drove to nearest service station for a wash I don't know how they have good reviews if the rooms are same as the the one they put us in. stay well away you be safer and cleaner in your car I think we are all gonna be sick after this What a nightmare 😤
The pub is friendly enough but that's about it. The chef didn't turn up at all for breakfast which was booked for 07.30, we left at 08.30. The hallway carpets are very grubby. Worst of all is that we were told that there was a courtyard where we could park our motorbikes but there wasn't so we had to park them in full view of the road.
Dirty place floor and tables were sticky. Arrived at 3 and limited on meats. No Yorkshire pudding, veg stalks ate left on .. cauliflower cheese was a lot to be desired for colour appearance was off putting.
We did not stay over. Simply popped in on the off chance of a family meal. Staff are all great but we waited a long time for food, however, they were very busy and all food was being cooked a table at a time. Nearly an hour waiting for food but it was fresh and tastey
