Located opposite Lochinver House School, this hidden gem has been a McMullen house since 1903.
A lovely spot in which to eat, drink and relax and enjoy our occasional entertainments (like us on Facebook for details) – whether inside by the roaring fire or alfresco, weather permitting – for a swift lunch, relaxed dinner or post-work libation. Spiffing!
Locally brewed ales, world beers, sumptuous fine wines and credible coffee all accompany hearty Sunday roasts, and pub classics.

Came here on boxing day. I am not from the area and this was the first time I had been here. It is a lovely cosy pub inside. Food was amazing, very tasty and cooked beautifully. Service took a while between each course, but it was quite busy and boxing day. Would definitely recommend this place to eat.
Nice pub and decent atmosphere. The serving staff were a little overrun but they did a lot better than I expected. I've had worse. They acknowledged the service wasn't as good as they usually deliver. The food wasn't great. It wasn't terrible but not great. I would return for a drink but probably not to eat. I'm more of a "do less well than lots mediocre" type of person.
Lovely little pub staff were friendly and the food was nice and fresh. The locals were Friendly and the 2 old boys that must be residents ar the var had no problems with moving furniture so they had their spot I found them amazing a bit like the old boys on the puppet show x
Lovely non assuming pub. The atmosphere took me back to when pubs were pubs & not trying to be something other than an honest pub. Excellent service. Decent well cooked food. Very clean toilets. Reasonable prices. All in all a very nice place. Going back on 01/12/2023 to see Michael Buble entertainment & a festive meal. Good choice of veggie festive menu. Anybody wishing to visit an honest English pub ought to give it a try.
One of my favourite places to eat in Potters Bar. It can be a Sunday roast, burger or just a light snack. Exceptional staff and great food. Good value for money.

Free house offering good food, wine and ale at reasonable prices both in our bar and restaurant. Established here in 2000 we now have lots of customers and friends from both near and far. The Old Manor’s warm and friendly atmosphere make it a great place
