The Bugle Inn is an absolute gem for all Guinness lovers out there. As soon as you step inside, you can feel the warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the perfect ambiance for a memorable irish pub experience. But what truly sets The Bugle apart is their exceptional Guinness. The Guinness at The Bugle Inn is nothing short of perfection. From the moment the bartender pours it into a pint glass, you can see the rich, velvety dark color and the iconic creamy head forming on top. The first sip is a revelation - smooth, full-bodied, and bursting with flavor. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their the pub, ensuring that each pint at the pub is poured with care and precision. They understand the importance of the perfect pour, allowing the flavors to develop and the creamy head to settle just right. They serve Grosch, Keonwnbourg, Guinness, Guinness extra cold, Stella and stowford. All very nice. The Bugle is not just a pub that happens to have Guinness; it is a haven for Guinness enthusiasts. The ambiance, combined with the impeccable quality of their Guinness, creates an experience that is second to none. So, if you're in search of a pub that takes Guinness seriously, look no further than The Bugle. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Love this pub.

I feel the sign found in this establishment says it better than me. I thank the landlord and the two lovely ladies last night. Not sure if the pub serves food but there was plenty of booze and nonesense available and I loved it. They must have done a good job as I'm still merry the afternoon after

Well this is a great little traditional back street pub..it used to have an Irish theme going but is more varied now. I must say that I can't give it more than 4 stars as it does have a few little issues. On the plus side it the old traditional pub that most people are looking for, the prices are average for the area. The bar staff are the key part and are always attentive and friendly. On the negative is that it's a bit tired and could do with a refit. The wines are cheap and not worth trying but it does have a good selection of gins, WiFi that is intermittent. and so is the heating in the winter. It can be quite some days but loud on the others. Overall, a pub worth visiting if you like the traditional style and are in the area. Worth a visit: yes Tuesday nights: cheap drinks and great live music. But overall, tired and needs a good refit.

A great back street local. Little changed over the years. Popular with the local community and definitely not trendy which is a good thing for a pub that wants to be a traditional local. A minus is that it only serves instant coffee, does sell tea though which pleased one member of our group.
