Always stop I'm when out that way on the bikes... always warm friendly atmosphere... and the bar staff are amazing
The Bucks is not trading as a hotel at the moment. Only the bar is open. Old fashioned but clean and the service is great. Staff very friendly especially the bar manager Hazel.
Nipped in for a quick half time pint. Seems to be much quieter than I remember and there was little atmosphere. The staff behind the bar were friendly enough and the layout and set up of the pub is good. Just a shame that it was fairly empty. Not sure if it's maybe a bit busier in the evening or during special events.
It was a nice place a few years ago.. But it has become run down, and is just a drinking place
