Large but cosy pub with a friendly atmosphere. The original pub areas have many beams and an inglenook fireplace It. Ever changing guest beer. It has a large conservatory restaurant where families are more than welcome.Home cooked food served. Fish is a speciality on Wednesdays and a Sunday roast is offered carvery style.
Visited last night 4/11/23 as we bought tickets for the fireworks display and hog roast. What a great night, staff are friendly, hog roast was delicious with a good display of fireworks and to top it off a really energetic great sounding band. What a brilliant night.

Came along for music bingo and had a lovely night! Extremely friendly staff and punters They serve a tasty pie and great cider and have an excellent atmosphere A good, old skool pub
Visited on a day when an American car club was holding a meet later that evening. Had a meal with the wife good honest pub food at reasonable prices. Well presented but I do have a pet hate of food served on anything but a plate but they were happy to change from a wooden board to a plate. Had puddings too. Menus in the pictures.
Great friendly atmosphere, Colette the manager and Tony the owner, good banter. Jam sponge with hot custard and ice cream was the best dessert I've had. Only let down was a little too much salt for my tastes in the Carvey.
