Did the steak and pint night on Wednesdays for £15 was very happy! Also love the outside heated seating area to watch the footy will plan to go back
Went to meet up with an ex work colleague as this was local to him. It was extremely busy (Rugby World Cup was on) but we still managed to get served reasonably easy by what were a very friendly team of bar staff. Decent selection of lagers, ciders and ales meant we stayed a good few hours. Pub garden was also a decent size and under cover - good because it was a very cold day for the time of year with the odd shower. Would go again.
Always greeted with a smile. Nice staff. Would be great if they did food all day but during the week they stop at 2pm. Good garden for summer with big screen TV and additional bar outside.
Nice, tasty food, shame about the service. It was a busy Thursday but they forgot two rounds of drinks, brought one drink wrong and made a mistake with one dish twice. I saw a dish accidentally tipped over someone at the next table too. Thankfully not ours!
Came here with my 93yo Grandmother for a roast dinner and pudding and it was fantastic - I had the chicken which was a huge portion but really delicious, my Gran had the children's portion which she loved. We also had the honeycomb cheese cake and the orange creme brulé which were both amazing. Hospitality was outstanding, even though it was really busy we got our food really quickly, we were sat in a corner which was perfect as it didn't feel too loud, the waitresses were lovely and accommodating. We'll definitely be making a trip back soon!
