Been coming here for lunch most days! Normally delicious...However today really poor.. Chewy chicken and automatic service charge being added "Optional in the UK" but if you don't know its being added then you wont know you are being over charged!! Said to the owner "Who is really nice and helpful" but she said its the same every day! but she will tell the chef! its normally very good so don't know what the problem is.. Nothing replaced didn't seem to care. Very annoying as I liked coming here..Maybe the last time 🤬🤬🤬
This is a very interesting pub. It’s basically a sports pub attached to very high quality Thai restaurant. Surprisingly it works really well mostly due the staff, and the manager. I know a number of the staff and the manager and they are lovely and professional, particularly the manager. He makes sure everything is ok and diligently keeps aware of the ambience by discreetly moving round the pub. This is the most friendly pub I’ve known
Love their other pubs but can’t stand the owner/manger of this pub. He’s so rude and arrogant! Walks around like he’s gods gift to the world. If he left the pub would be better. I’ll stick to going to their other pubs where Jay who is amazing runs things. Jamie in Thame is great. This guy ruins the whole place. He need to get over himself!
Absolutely love this little gem of a place. We found it during lockdown for take aways and now visit most weekends for lunch. Food is reasonably priced and consistently good
We’re spending some time in Long Crendon and a friend recommended this place… and we’re so glad they did! The Pad Thai and Yellow Curry were delicious! We will definitely be back to try other dishes. The staff were all very kind and fun to chat with. Lovely setting indoor and out. We enjoyed the back garden area since the weather was nice. 🧡
