Three or four lagers, plenty of draught and cask ales, and the guinness is OK as well. Lots to choose from on the food front and good portion sizes, although fish and chips tasted frozen which is poor when paying £15. Dog friendly and a function room as well. Some odd decor but comfortable and warm. Good for a family meal, or a few on the weekend. Not accessible for wheelchairs or low mobility.

my wife booked and they were very nice on the phone she booked for the both of us and 1 child. when we arrived the staff at the front waited said we have no more space and we gave the table to this guy in the wheelchair complaining about how the pub in not disabled friendly so my 6 year old son teddy buckley went and roundhouse kicked the poor geeza in the wheelchair called geoff that owns a caravan company and took his wheelchair so then the police came and said we can eat our roast in the supply closet so we said sod it and ate out roast in there the service was brilliant and had a very nice owner and me and that owner matched up on tinder the next week and are now married and on out honey moon and now teddy is grown up and is in a 3 way marriage with edward and alfie so i will recommend because the dog house can change you life.

We want to thank all the staff for making our Sunday dinner experience so much easier for us. Our mum has dementia, being so young most people don’t assume she is ill with it, and people can often find her behaviour offensive and it can be difficult to even go out for dinner. However the staff today helped make our experience so easy and they couldn’t do enough. We want to give a special mention to Jack, his kindness and friendly nature with our mum gave us so much support and enabled us to enjoy a meal out all together. Thank you Jack.

We booked a table for the first time here for six adults, two kids and a high chair, on a busy bank holiday Sunday. After a quick change around of the tables by the helpful staff, we sat down and had drinks. We did wait a good while for our food, as it was very busy, but it was well worth the wait. Piping hot roast dinners, lots of meat, lots of gravy with each meal, plenty of veg, and the huge table share Yorkshire puddings were fab too. The food was great, the service was great, the staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. Kids area is secure, with enough to occupy them for a while. Would definately recommend for a family meal, and we will be visiting again

Food was good, good sized portions! Very good value for money. Service was decent, we sent back a dish as it wasn't right and the new dish was delivered within minutes. Can't fault!
