I enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with my husband and friends last weekend at The Potters Arms. The food, service and pub were excellent, we all enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back at some point. Would definitely recommend.
First visit to this pub. I will definitely be going back. Fabulous community establishment with village store B&B and great ale. It serves breakfast if you fancy popping in. The selection of food and quality is excellent. Just what a village needs.
Today was our Thirtieth Wedding Anniversary. We decided that rather than go to anywhere we had been before, we would try somewhere new. My wife found and booked the Potter's Arms. It was out of our area and we decided we could have a little trip out. It was a great choice. On arrival we were met by a young lady named Lauren who showed us to our reserved table. That's when life started to get difficult - what to choose from the menu? There were so many choices it was difficult to decide, but I can assure you that whatever you would have chosen, it would have been cooked to perfection. To start with I had Bubble and Squeak with poached egg and Hollandaise sauce. It was like a breakfast immediately before lunch! I followed that with a Steak and Ale pie, for which they kindly swapped the vegetables for me, leaving me with a main of my making. Full to the brim, I had to ask for dessert to be delayed a while. When I did finally feel able to go for it, it was delicious. I had poached pear in a star anise and red wine sugar syrup. It was a great trip to somewhere we had never been before and it was perfect. Lauren looked after us with a delightful "whatever you want" attitude. We have been, we have seen, we will return.
The staff are really friendly and it feels like you're sitting in your front room. Food is generous and packed with flavour I will definitely be coming back here for both a meal and for their comedy and music nights what a gem we seemed to have found, thank you Richard.
Treated my father to a birthday dinner for his 80th. Quiet area, nice views onto the greenery and surrounded by some stunning houses. The food was amazing so was happy to pay the price.

Very traditional olde worlde English pub with parquet flooring, large inglenook open fireplaces, leather sofas and original low ceiling beams. Excellent high quality food served in very relaxed environment with a warm personal service.
