The Boot & Slipper never fails to be a lovely meal out. The atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful, busy without being overly crowded and the staff are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had my four year niece with us and when bringing out the food, they made sure to bring hers out alongside the first round of dishes so she wasn’t left waiting for hers - a really small but thoughtful gesture. Our server, Sophie, also heard my sister mention that it was my birthday and so when bringing out my dessert, put some birthday candles in my dessert, which was another lovely touch. All around, it was a wonderful lunch and the menu had something for everyone. Thank you for a lovely lunch, we’ll definitely be back again! :)
Very good atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Really enjoyed it. It is a pub but a nicer one. We have now visited multiple times. Staff was always nice and friendly. Will visit again!
Very nice pub in Amersham. Compared to a lot of pubs I found the service to be high quality. The servers checked on the table multiple times and brought more drinks. Often I find you have to go to the bar to get anything after your food is dropped off. The food was nice as well. Will be back.
Pub at the top of the new town of Amersham…. Food good and the atmosphere was cosy English pub…. Renovated with good access and outdoor areas
Nice pub. Food was great. No table service, you have to order everything at the bar, service was ok a couple of mistakes made but nothing major and sorted quickly. Lots of big outdoor tables with comfortable seats, Garden well looked after with lots of pretty flowering plants. Large carpark.
