Fabulous food as always, great staff and good value for money
Not the best of experience from the Start as I visited the bathroom on entry front of house seated my partner in the restaurant,we I came to front of house I was told that the was no table booked under my name and was told to wait as she decided to serve others customers,I had to phone my partner to see were she was in the restaurant as I could not get passed front of house,my partner came to get me and front of house didn't have the decency to apologize.awful start to the experience followed by a dirty bottle of ketchup on our table.
Today on our arrival at the Buck, we found it to be megga megga busy... ambience was very good though. On speaking to an elderly couple, whilst we waited for our reservation which we had previously booked, they explained that in over 20yrs of them calling at the Buck, every Sunday without fail, today was the busiest they could ever recall. Food was absolutely delicious, staff, waitresses, chefs all very helpful indeed, bit pricey for the Sunday carvery, but don't let the price put you off, you pay for what you get, in all honesty it was all fresh, and no frozen veg, also the meat fell apart, 10 out of 10, great place, great food, great ambience and great service from all staff
Came here for a few drinks with some mates, decided to grab a burger and it was actually really good. Eat it to quickly to take a shot of it but it was spot on. Good portion size, plenty of meat, chips were nice! It was a nice suprise considering we only went there for a few drinks. Considering it was last orders for meals the staff were really helpful and friendly. Lovely place!
The most delicious place to eat. Food was fantastic some of the best flavours I have tasted. Excellent sized portions great value for money too. There is a huge variety of choices on the menu and the children's menu is very reasonable with great portions. The outdoor seating area is gorgeous with a designated smoking area and separate outside seating with covers. A quirky venue with stunning old features inside from the age of the pub. I will definitely be visiting again.
