Situated by the River Ribble, near Gisburn, the Buck Inn is a real village pub. Set in the quiet hamlet of Paythorne. This charming 18th Century pub is not only attractive both inside and outside, but it is also known locally for the excellence of it
Oozing with Northern charm, Charlotte was a delight, food was ok, wouldn’t hesitate to go again…
This was our first visit to the buck Inn but it won't be our last. We have family in Giggleswick and visit the area regularly. We had a beef baguette and bacon and cheese melt baguette. Both came with chips and salad. Both were delicious. There was so much beef and extra gravy too. The staff were friendly and welcoming. If you get the chance to go, please do. You won't be disappointed 🎄
Great home cooked food, reasonably priced, lovely atmhospher open fires, Xmas deccys up, great place warm and welcoming.
This hidden gem was excellent for Sunday lunch. Parking was a little challenging, but once inside nice welcome, seated promptly, menu excellent, wine list good, although they did run out of the wine we selected, but more importantly the mains and desserts were excellent. You need to book, though. We would definitely return.
Great little country pub with a warm welcoming to dogs. Had a great night during my stay at the caravan site next door and found the pricing of the establishment great value on drinks. Kept forgetting I've travelled up north as was constantly expecting southern prices.. Overall a wonderful evening and a great laugh. Looking forward to the next visit.
