Five stars for the largest sticky toffee pudding I have ever eaten. Hand in picture for comparison. Maybe I have been too sheltered in my life.
Really good food/ value overall. Yorkshire puddings were a bit rubbish. Everything else was great and seemed very good value especially for the kids portions. They brought drinks to the table whilst we queued for food which was helpful too.
Really good carvery! Conveniently located near major traffic routes. Stopped off here for a Sunday dinner and was not disappointed. The meat was lovely and all the vegetables & trimmings were well cooked. Service was fine and there was plenty of room in the place. Thoroughly recommended.
Got a roast lunch there a few days ago around mid-day. There were plenty of options for vegetables and 3 types of meat- recommend the ham but there is also turkey and beef. I think the meal was 8.99 for lunch which was pretty good considering for how much food you can get.
Placed order waited 30 minute before asking about food, however once the issue was brought to light it was handled perfectly, very efficient, helpful and friendly. Refunded for the inconvenience and food was taken out no longer than 10 minutes after this. The food itself was amazing, great portion sizes, good apple juice. Then purchased some cake which is absolutely huge slices and looks amazing yet to try but expect to be amazing. Definitely recommend would come again as don't think the issue is a normal occurrence and simply a one off mistakenthat was handled very well
