Lovely beer - fantastic food - nice setting - gets very busy during the season. Genuinely impressed on multiple visits in 2023.Book early so as not to be disappointed. And there's a river nearby
We went for some food around 4ish last Sunday (27/8/23)but they stopped serving food around 3ish. It's seems a very popular pub especially with a caravan park close by. Worth a try. It were the first time we visited the pub. But another day we will go earlier to try the food.
Our group of four went to The Brownlow Arms for a meal in the early evening. The pub setting is nice in a quiet small village and first impressions were good. We ordered from their extensive bar menu and were very pleased with the food. All four dishes were very tasty, served on hot plates, by the landlord, who could not have been friendlier. We will definitely return.
My go to pub when I'm out for a ride. Excellent beer and chilled surroundings.
Only went in the beer garden / camping area. Music was playing, the sun was shining and the one drink I had was spot on. They do food too, but didn't stay long enough to try that. Great setting.
