We are a large organisation in the centre of the estate, and, as there are no similar facilities on this side of the town, we also cater for residents on the adjoining Planets, Meadow Way, Billington Park and Sandhills estates.
When our original wooden-hut clubhouse (which many older members still fondly remember) was replaced by our new building we had (and probably still have) the largest hall/function room in the area. This is used on a regular basis by our members but is also available for hire. As a registered charity we offer highly advantageous hire rates for other charitable use where we can.
In addition to our large and well appointed bar providing drinks at very competitive prices, we and various user groups offer a wide range of activities from Darts to Zumba to suit young and old and all those in between. With much more live TV sport, our outside patio area seating and refurbishment of the old lounge area in the pipeline we are aiming to provide a venue for all ages, tastes and moods. With ramps at the main entrance, level access throughout the building and our disabled toilet we are wheelchair friendly.

Last time came here I got stabbed. Luckily I was expecting it and consented as the stabbing implement was a needle and I was here to give blood. Several times a year the NHS set up a Blood Donation Centre with the consent of the Resident's Association. This means they must be nice people. I have been here on social occasions too and although the facility is getting a little dated, it has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff are friendly.
Attended a private function. Big room, easily fit 75+ people. Good stage area plus modest kitchen for food preparation
Gave blood here. Perfect location. Lots of space inside and good parking outside.
Very good for party's excellent place to enjoy your shelf.
Parking is not brilliant at busy times so go early. Great atmosphere for dancing and good sized dance floor. Helpful bar staff. All good really if you live close by and don't need to drive.
