It's a budget friendly pub. Went for lunch with another couple. Service was good but food was dry and bland. Pay for what u get. We went for the crown of sliders which was carb overload. My friends steak , well just look at it. Been here numerous times but this was not the best meal we've had there.
Speedy food but it's ordered at the bar with a table number not directly from the table. Breakfast menu from 10.00 daily looks amazing
Came in to have am early breakfast after walking the dog. Our dog was allowed inside, which was very nice. We had a small breakfast and side order of toast each. I thought it was quite tasty food for the price we paid. There was disabled access, loads of parking, think this place must get very busy at peak timesđź‘Ť
Disgusting, food took an hour (not even busy) even tables who ordered after was getting their food before hand. When it eventually came out it was Luke warm at best obviously been left and forgotten about for the last 45 minutes. When mentioned to the waitress that it wasn’t up to the standard it should be along with the wait which may I add we had no apology for. Our food was then taken, thinking it was going to be re cooked and fresh oh no it was microwaved and brought back out. Chicken was rubbery, the bun and lettuce disgusting where it’s been re heated. The worst meal we’ve had in a long time, unfortunately it got to the point I wasn’t going to make my one year old wait another hour for the food to be corrected. And the staff really didn’t give a care in the world that we was still hungry and dissatisfied. We ate what we could which wasn’t a lot mainly because we was starving after waiting ages and left. No refund, no apologies. VERY DISAPPOINTING I WOULDNT EAT HERE AGAIN PERSONALLY. Gone home hungry, money out of pocket and let down! Update- next day after meal and partner has sickness and upset stoamch. I would avoid at all costs.
Last minute decision to eat out. Did book before we went as a was a Sunday lunchtime. Food came quickly, and was lovely and hot. Pudding was fab. This is a little gem just out of the way a bit. But worth a visit.
