Based in Snowdonia, The Brondanw Arms is a wonderful example of a traditional Welsh pub with slate floors, roaring log fires, cask ales, cosy dining areas and an award-winning menu. A perfect base for families visiting The Snowdonia National Park, Portmerion, Welsh Mountain Steam Railway or the Ffestiniog Mountain Railway.
Cosy country pub inside with open fires for a cold night after a long walk, didn't try the food but it smelt & looked wonderful. The views from the huge beer garden are amazing!! Definitely worth a visit just to see that!! Good selection of beers too!!!
Absolutely loved the drive to and from this place, and once we got there we were not disappointed! What a fantastic beer garden. Shutting dining a cold one with the sheep grazing in the background. Nice little kids playground there too. Staff very nice and friendly.
Lovely location. Narrow road with characteristic slate walls. We had our meal in the garden next to the children's fenced off play area. Ate under a tree as the sun was very strong. The inside of the pub has character and the staff were very friendly.
Wood panelling, original beams, burner, farm tools and old photos afford this pub a warm, homely feel. Perfect for those colder days. Only 2 Robinson's ales on cask, but in good condition. There's a picturesque beer garden out back overlooking a cow pen, with a children's play area and large car park - not to mention a great view.
There is a sign outside claiming 'quality food'. Absolutely right. I've googled the place as there aren't many options in the area and it was perfect. Definitely highly recommended.
