About us

There are two bars: a saloon where you can have a quiet drink at a public bar with a pool table and darts board.

At the rear of the pub there is skittle alley and large walled garden.

The restaurant serves home cooked snacks and meals from Tuesday to Saturday with a traditional roast served on Sunday.

The Britannia has four letting rooms, one twin, two double and a family room consisting of a double bed, bunk beds and a single bed, all with en suite facilities.

The bars with their range of local real ales are comfortable and cosy. The public bar has a rugby theme with signed shirts from the local rugby clubs including Bath and Bristol and pictures of local teams and sporting heroes.

There is a function room on the second floor with its own bar which is very popular for parties, meetings, auctions and private dinner parties.

The Britannia has ten skittle teams playing every evening in the winter months and a summer league. The alley is suitable for parties wishing to play skittles, a meeting room or just the place for a party.

There is also have a large barbeque facility. This can be hired for the evening or we can provide a complete barbeque for your enjoyment.
