Went walking on the trail and called in for a meal, the pub has been taken over recently and is trying to get customers back after being closed. The pub was clean & nice, good music choice, the food was brilliant, loved the fish & chips and the bridge burger but be warned that you need to have a big appetite to finish this😁 The pub also has a beer garden and plenty of parking.
Staff and food where both loverly, really enjoyed the special board meal. Yorkshire pud both beef stew, really nice atmosphere on top of everything really made it nice, it had only been reopened for 3 months, well done to the owners on their selection of staff both super loverly
Lovely food and friendly staff. I don't think it was that busy as most people seemed to enjoy their beers and drinks but we still waited around an hour for food. Normally it would be OK but with kids it was a bit too long. I'd definitely recommend this place for food. Everything was fresh and seemed to be cooked to order. We would definitely be coming back.
Called in at this beautiful pub with my partner for an evening meal! The service was amazing &greeted by very friendly staff. The indoor and outdoor seating is beautiful and the views were amazing! The food was lovely also went back and tried Sunday dinner for which was definitely worth it. The food is cheap and cheerful but very very tasty. Definitely will become a regular visit
Stopped for lunch. Tried the steak and ale pie. Very good. The homemade chips were great. Portion size just right for lunchtime. The highlight of the lunch was the homemade ginger sponge and custard. Fantastic! 😀
