In the very heart of rural Cheshire lies the picturesque and unspoilt village of Prestbury of which the Bridge is the keystone.
A grade II listed country pub, restaurant and hotel, it connects quirky decor matched with country comforts. Since 1952, The Bridge in Prestbury has boasted luxurious accomodation, fine food, morning coffee, afternoon tea, private dining facilities, and a welcoming bar and restaurant. The seasonal menus promote the local farmers, foragers and gardeners of Cheshire.

Very disappointed. Stayed over on Sunday night in a group of 6 and dining in the "restaurant". Service was slow. Rooms too hot so had to open windows, poor lighting due possibly to the dark walls. Menu in the room was not offered in the restaurant and we were only offered only Sunday lunch menu. No steaks, minimal menu. I ordered the roast beef, others ordered different items off the menu. When my meal arrived it was missing the yorkshire pudding and mashed potato and I got the ends of the beef which was quite tough roast potatoes weren't really roast but boiled and browned. Was told sorry we've run out of yorkshire puddings -I was not offered something else from the menu before it arrived.. . When you're with a group of people and they've got their food it's not easy to say I want to order something else. 5 deserts on the menu - 2 had already sold out. Sold out of the red wine we had been drinking so had to order something else.
A superbly positioned hotel in a village that has lots of charm & history. It's well placed for local walks or trips further afeikd. Our room was particularly nice (in the older part of the building). They pride themselves in using local resources where possible from drinks to the food which was excellent quality & value! Their best asset is the staff who are approachable, knowledgeable & extraordinarily friendly! Well done! I expect to return to Prestbury in coming months & have every intention to revisit The Bridge.
Five of us booked for the Christmas Fare set menu and was excellent value and included a glass of mulled wine and crackers for the table. Excellent service from our server and not rushed. Dining is in pleasant surroundings.
Lovely place. We come here often for Sunday dinners and it is consistently good. Today I held a baby shower and the staff were so accommodating. Beautiful venue and excellent service.
We booked a 2 night super dog friendly stay through a third supplier and paid in full. On arrival unfortunately our booking was lost and the staff had to find us an alternative room, the problem was dealt with but the rooms we was offered were not quite as advertised and had paid for. Maybe our mistake but we was expecting a good size room with a 4 poster bed. Both rooms offered were a little tired but as it was only 2 nights we agreed and stayed. The staff were super dog friendly and he went everywhere with us. Food was superb as was the beer. We probably wouldn't stay again but needless to say we enjoyed our stay here.
